Are you a Maker? Let's embark on this journey together, celebrating the wonders of handmade craftsmanship in the heart of Haliburton. Thank you for your interest in joining Handmade Heaven, the best artisan store in all of Canada! We are currently accepting handmade, creative small businesses to join us.
Our model gives you, the maker, 100% of your sales in exchange for monthly rent. Our rent is collected monthly on the 1st of each month. We provide multiple options on memberships for you to choose from: a regular entry shelf unit, which has 5 shelves, and a wall space option. The entry unit is arranged in the center of the store and does not have a wall backing.
Pricing for Haliburton is as follows:
- 5 Tier Entry unit: $130 + HST/month
- 2 ft wide x 2 ft deep x 8 ft high: $200 + HST/month
- 3 ft wide x 2 ft deep x 8 ft high: $260 + HST/month
Terms: No contracts at all. We don't bind vendors to us. We simply require the first and last month's payment. We ask for 30 days' notice in case a vendor wants to opt out, and the last month's payment is considered for those 30 days.
Securing your participation: Once you apply, your application will be reviewed, and if accepted, you will receive a welcome email to join us along with your vendor participation package.
Inventory + payout + overstock + store hours:
Inventory: We operate on a live-time, 24-hour access inventory system. You manage your inventory yourself, ensuring your vendor code is listed on all items. You are paid bi-weekly, and 100% of your sales go directly into your bank account.
Overstock: There is no charge to keep a plastic bin of overstock to make replenishing easy for our staff and you!
Store hours: Our store is open every day. We operate during mall hours.
Vendor code + product code + price: We require you to follow our labeling policy to ensure your products are accurately accounted for in the inventory system and you are paid out for all items sold through the inventory system. Details on this are provided in your vendor package.
